I would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming Mock Interview Workshop on Friday, May 29th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time at Blind Industries and Services of Maryland (BISM).
This workshop is designed to provide a realistic and supportive environment where participants can practice and strengthen their interview skills while receiving valuable feedback from professionals.
For Interviewers:
Your participation as an interviewer would be greatly appreciated. Each interview will last approximately 15 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of feedback to help guide and support the student, and 5 minutes to transition to the next interview.
Depending on participation, you may:
- Interview multiple students
- Participate in a panel interview (2 interviewers, 1 interviewee)
- Engage with students participating in person or virtually
At the conclusion of the workshop, we will host a Q&A session for students. Your participation in this portion is optional.
Additional details, including assigned students, will be shared prior to the event.
For Students / Interviewees:
This is a valuable opportunity to practice your interview skills in a professional setting.
You can expect:
- 2 or 3 mock interviews
- Personalized feedback from interviewers
- The opportunity to participate in panel interviews
- A Q&A session at the end of the workshop to ask additional questions
You will be asked to interview for a specific role of your interest and submit a resume. Additional details will be provided in advance.
