SUMMARY:Spring Mock Interview Workshop
DESCRIPTION:I would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming Mock Interview Workshop on Friday\, May 29th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time at Blind Industries and Services of Maryland (BISM). \nThis workshop is designed to provide a realistic and supportive environment where participants can practice and strengthen their interview skills while receiving valuable feedback from professionals. \nFor Interviewers: \nYour participation as an interviewer would be greatly appreciated. Each interview will last approximately 15 minutes\, followed by 10 minutes of feedback to help guide and support the student\, and 5 minutes to transition to the next interview. \nDepending on participation\, you may: \n\nInterview multiple students\nParticipate in a panel interview (2 interviewers\, 1 interviewee)\nEngage with students participating in person or virtually\n\nAt the conclusion of the workshop\, we will host a Q&A session for students. Your participation in this portion is optional. \nAdditional details\, including assigned students\, will be shared prior to the event. \nFor Students / Interviewees: \nThis is a valuable opportunity to practice your interview skills in a professional setting. \nYou can expect: \n\n2 or 3 mock interviews\nPersonalized feedback from interviewers\nThe opportunity to participate in panel interviews\nA Q&A session at the end of the workshop to ask additional questions\n\nYou will be asked to interview for a specific role of your interest and submit a resume.  Additional details will be provided in advance. \n  \nGeneral Information: \n\nFormat: In-person\, or phone (based on availability and preference)\nLocation: BISM (for in-person participants)\nDuration: Approximately 2 hours\n\nPlease contact me to confirm your participation by Friday May 1st and indicate: \n\nYour role (Interviewer or Interviewee)\nYour preferred format (In-person or phone)\nYour field of interest and submit your resume (interviewees only)\n\nIf you have any questions\, feel free to reach out to me directly.  Also\, please share this with others in your network. \nThank you for your continued support and commitment to professional development.
