BISM’s first Base Supply Center opened its doors in 1997 on Dover Airforce Base.
This partnership between the AbilityOne Program, BISM and the military/federal government was created to provide employment opportunities for people who are blind and/or disabled.
Each Base Supply Center offers a full line of AbilityOne and commercial office supplies, janitorial and sanitation products, furniture, medical and safety items, individual equipment, military equipment, tactical gear, tools, maintenance, and repair products to name a few.
Each purchase also helps further BISM’s mission to create even more opportunities for people with vision loss.
