BISM will celebrate White Cane Safety Day by bringing our employees, alumni, families and community partners together to recognize the independence, mobility and confidence represented by the white cane.
The afternoon will include a BISM-wide walk led by our Independence Training & Rehabilitation instructors, along with activities, resources, food and time to celebrate together.
White Cane Safety Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about the white cane as an important tool of independence for people who are blind and to remind our community about the importance of white cane safety.
We look forward to celebrating with the BISM community!
