The holidays at Blind Industries and Services of Maryland are always a reminder that while our work may look different across locations and departments, our sense of community is shared.
This year, BISM locations across Baltimore, our Base Supply Centers, Salisbury, and Raleigh brought the holiday spirit to life in their own unique ways. From festive decorations and gift exchanges to games like White Elephant and moments of laughter between coworkers, each celebration reflected the personality of the teams who make BISM such a special place to work.
In addition to the fun, we also took time to recognize something incredibly meaningful: employee milestones. Across the organization, we honored team members celebrating 5, 10, 15, 20, and even 25 years with BISM. These milestones represent dedication, growth, and a deep commitment to our mission—and we are grateful for every individual who continues to build their career here.
While no two celebrations looked exactly the same, the feeling was universal. There was joy, appreciation, and a shared pause to reflect on the year behind us and the opportunities ahead. Whether through a small gathering, shared gifts, or simple time spent together, every location found a way to celebrate the season and ring in the new year.
