The Veterans Mental Health Advisory Council is hosting a series of events in conjunction with the Veterans Day Concert. See below for more information.
Friday, November 8: BISM AbilityOne Program Tour (7:30am - 9:30am NEW TIME)
On Friday, starting at 7:30am, Blind Industries & Services of Maryland is providing a tour of their Baltimore facility, highlighting its work with the military and the AbilityOne Program, which provides employment opportunities to more than 45,000 people who are blind or have significant disabilities.
Saturday, November 9: Annual Resource Fair (10am to 1pm)
Harford County is hosting the third Annual Resource Fair for veterans and their families. The free event will offer information about jobs, housing, benefits, and educational opportunities for veterans. There will also be various exhibits for the family to enjoy. Veteran-owned Mission BBQ will provide free sandwiches.
There will be a silent auction available at the event. The auction will run from 6pm to 9:15pm.
