Friday, November 8: BISM AbilityOne Program Tour (7:30am - 9:30am NEW TIME)
On Friday, starting at 7:30am, Blind Industries & Services of Maryland is providing a tour of their Baltimore facility, highlighting its work with the military and the AbilityOne Program, which provides employment opportunities to more than 45,000 people who are blind or have significant disabilities.

Saturday, November 9: Annual Resource Fair (10am to 1pm)
Harford County is hosting the third Annual Resource Fair for veterans and their families. The free event will offer information about jobs, housing, benefits, and educational opportunities for veterans. There will also be various exhibits for the family to enjoy. Veteran-owned Mission BBQ will provide free sandwiches.

There will be a silent auction available at the event. The auction will run from 6pm to 9:15pm. Starting bids will be listed and bid increments are set at $10.

“Joe’s Stuff” by Morgan Ian Wilbur - Signed Museum Reproduction
The original of this print was painted by Morgan Ian Wilbur, an official Navy artist, staff member of the Naval Historical Center, and Art Director for the Naval Aviation News magazine. His works have been exhibited at the National Museum of Naval Aviation, and the Navy Art Gallery, Washington, DC. His art has been reproduced in books and magazines including Naval Institute’s Proceedings, Naval Institute Press, Naval Aviation News, and Aviation Week and Space Technology.

Original Watercolor by Diane Gibson
Diane Gibson is an artist from Parkton, MD who specializes in watercolor and oil painting. Formerly the head of the Department of Rehabilitative Therapy at Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital, Gibson studied under Margaret Naumberg and desires to use art to help patients express themselves. She attributes some of her best work to spontaneous stops on hiking trips around her home or on foreign trips, where particular details of older homes or landscapes capture her attention.

The Heart of a Patriot Walking Stick
Handmade by Retired Army Sgt. Geneo Graves
This decorative, one of a kind, patriot-themed walking stick embodies all the qualities that makes this nation majestic and great. The beautifully stained solid oak base with silver embellishments symbolizes America's strength throughout the four corners of the world. The black leather binding symbolizes protection, while the 1940s silver and brass rings represent vision, focus, and balance. This artistic masterpiece is adorned with a vintage solid cast eagle in flight symbolizing man's connection to the divine, America's freedom and courage to look ahead. The eagle stands approximately 12 in tall and weighs almost 3 lbs. The walking stick displays plates memorializing U.S. Prisoners of War, Veterans of World War II and Vietnam, and the courageous passengers of Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. It equipped with a compass, thermometer, and is sure to inspire veterans, service members, and civilians alike.

Tommy Marlon Signed Originals
Tommy Marlon is a native of Ohio where he grew up in East Cleveland. He is an unconventional artist known for casting thought-invoking paintings that reach deeply into his audience’s minds. As an artist who believes art is a presentation of history, culture, and life in general, Tommy uses his artistic platforms to bring a vision to people. He pursues and presents art, as he proclaims, “as a self-diagnosis”. And through his works he has become an activist for art appreciation among novice viewers.
