GLIDE returns for the 2023 – 2024 school year!

GLIDE will prepare blind and low vision transition-aged youth for life after high school (college or employment) through interactive and energetic workshops.

Join us for a new year with brand new topics and activities!

  • November 10: Mentorship (NFBMD State Convention)
  • December 9: The Art of Meal Prep
  • January 20: Preparing for College Life
  • February 10: Breaking the Boundaries
  • March 16: Physical Fitness and Care
  • April 12 – 14: Independent Living Skills Retreat (Cook Off)

All workshops are led by qualified, blind instructors and mentors. This program is made possible through a partnership with the Office of Blindness and Vision Services at the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS).
