What was your first paying job?
My first paying job was as a babysitter when I was 13 years old. I watched the child of a lady at my church. I really liked that job and I loved earning my own money.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
I would consider myself an extrovert. I am very outgoing and love people. You know those people who can strike up a conversation with anyone about anything? That’s me! I Wouldn’t say that I’m the life of the party, but I definitely get it going.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I love to sing! I have been singing in the church since I was 6 years old. I even served as choir director at one point in my life. I am now a member of the Praise Team. No longer director, but I will put on my director’s hat from time to time.

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
When I was 17 years old, there was an older woman who was like an aunt to me and all of the kids in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, she became ill and was going to pass away. During this time, she told me that I was sunshine and that my smile lit up a room. There happened to be other people present during this moment and that was when I was dubbed with the nickname Sunshine. Her words meant so much to me and I have carried them my entire life.

Have you ever met anyone famous?
When I was working as an Associate at the Hecth Company, I had the pleasure of meeting As the world turns actor Frank Runyeon. He played the role of Steve Andropoulos. He was so good looking and so kind. They usually say famous people are not the nicest to meet, but He walked up to me and kissed my hand. I said that I would never wash that hand again.

If you could have a career in anything, what would it be?
I would be a lawyer because they talk a lot. I can handle that. Or, I would be a counselor because of their ability to help people. They help people see the good in themselves and help guide them in the right direction. At the end of the day, I love people! That’s why I love my job!
