BISM Giving Day 2025: What a Success!

Thank you for being part of our very first BISM Giving Day!
Together, this community raised $4,300 in 24 hours — surpassing our goal and celebrating 39 years of empowering blind Marylanders with over 60,000 hours of free services each year.

Because of you:

A senior will gain the skills to live independently.

Is this donation tax deductible?

Yes, BISM is a 501 (c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax-deducible with the guidelines of U.S. Law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We will send it to you upon successful completion of our donation.

Is my donation secure?

We take precautions to protect your information. We do not collect bank or credit card information when you make a payment through our site. By submitting your payment, you authorize us to charge the account for the amount specified in the Transaction field. Account information for recurring pledges/monthly giving is encrypted and stored securely for automatic processing of your future payments. Notify us at any time if you wish to discontinue your pledge.
