BISM Giving Day

April 29, 2025

Join us as we honor 39 years of life-changing Independence Training and Rehabilitation programs at BISM.

In 1986, BISM launched our Independence Training and Rehabilitation (ITR) programs – a turning point that opened even greater doors for individuals who are blind to live independent, confident lives.

BISM Giving Day is a celebration of these programs and the countless journeys they have transformed.  Each gift helps us continue providing critical training in skills like travel, technology, cooking, self-advocacy, and more – skills that turn possibility into reality.

Your Giving Day gift directly supports:

  • Orientation and Mobility training (White Cane Travel)
  • Braille literacy and assistive technology instruction
  • Home and personal management skills
  • Job readiness and career exploration programs
  • Confidence-building experiences that foster true independence
Help us raise $3900.
Every dollar helps blind children, adults, and seniors live confidently.
