Yes, BISM is a 501 (c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax-deducible with the guidelines of U.S. Law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We will send it to you upon successful completion of our donation.
We take precautions to protect your information. We do not collect bank or credit card information when you make a payment through our site. By submitting your payment, you authorize us to charge the account for the amount specified in the Transaction field. Account information for recurring pledges/monthly giving is encrypted and stored securely for automatic processing of your future payments.
