Annual Giving

Contributions to Blind Industries and Services of Maryland provide:

  • appropriate resources for training and education for blind individuals.

Make a one-time or monthly donation

$25 can provide a white cane for someone who is blind to use to travel confidently unassisted.
$50 can provide a recording device for someone who is blind to use for taking notes.
$200 can provide an accessible monopoly game for a child who is blind to play with their peers.
$500 can provide an assistive technology devise that helps someone who is blind to live independently.

Is this donation tax deductible?

Yes, BISM is a 501 (c)3 tax-exempt organization, and your donation is tax-deducible with the guidelines of U.S. Law.  To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record.  We will send it to you upon successful completion of our donation.

We take precautions to protect your information.  We do not collect bank or credit card information when you make a payment through our site.  By submitting your payment, you authorize us to charge the account for the amount specified in the Transaction field.  Account information for recurring pledges/monthly giving is encrypted and stored securely for automatic processing of your future payments.  Notify us at any time if you wish to discontinue your pledge.
