2026 marks the 40th anniversary of our Independence Training and Rehabilitation (ITR) programs, and we’re kicking off the celebration in style! In honor of this milestone, we’re launching a brand-new beer:
🍺 Blind Spot – Low Vision, a limited-edition Hazy IPA brewed in collaboration with Checkerspot Brewing.

All proceeds from this year’s BISM on Tap event will go toward renovating the training kitchens in our ITR division, ensuring that blind and low-vision students continue to receive high-quality, hands-on instruction in safe, modern, and accessible spaces.
