DESCRIPTION:Life Beyond the Classroom.  \nGLIDE will prepare blind and low vision transition-aged youth for life after high school (college or employment) through interactive and energetic workshops. \nThis workshop is part of the GLIDE 2025-2026 Workshop Series. At each of these day-long workshops (and occasional weekend-long retreat)\, an optional breakfast will be served at 9:30AM\, and workshops will take place from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. BISM will also provide transportation for those who request it. \nAll workshops are led by qualified\, blind instructors and mentors. This free program is made possible through a partnership with the Office of Blindness and Vision Services at the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS).
