Service Contracts

Through a unique partnership with Melwood, an affiliate of the National Industries for the Severely Handicapped (NISH), and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Blind Industries operates the copy center at the George Washington Carver Center, a new USDA campus for over 1,100 employees in Beltsville, Maryland.

Our associates maintain over 65 copy machines throughout the four-building complex ensuring that supplies are on hand and routine maintenance is performed. They also provide custom copier services using high volume and color copy equipment, and perform specialty-collating projects for USDA personnel.

Our Blind Industries associates perform all customer service functions, inventory control, maintenance and production functions in support of Melwood and USDA.

An ongoing customer survey program, initiated by the associates themselves, keeps their quality of service on the competitive edge.
