BISM welcomes blind 9/11 survivor Michael Hingson
Baltimore Headquarters July 30th 9:30-11:30 am
Baltimore, MD - Blind Industries and Services of Maryland (BISM) is proud to welcome blind inspirational speaker Michael Hingson to our Baltimore headquarters, located on 3345 Washington Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21227, on Monday, July 30 from 9:30-11:30 am.
Hingson, who has been blind since birth, was on the 78th floor of Tower One on the day of the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks. Hingson and his Guide Dog, Roselle, managed to survive the attack, and were immediately thrust into the international spotlight. Hingson has since appeared on The Larry King Show numerous times, along with Live With Regis and Kelly and The CBS Morning Show.
Hingson is one of the leading public speakers on the subjects of trust, teamwork, diversity, and change. He has presented inspirational, informative speeches to corporations, companies, associations and organizations throughout the world.
Hingson, who resides in northern California, is currently employed as the National Public Affairs Director for Guide Dogs For The Blind.
Blind Industries and Services of Maryland is a not-for-profit organization that provides blind and visually impaired Marylanders with state-of-the-art life skills training and employment opportunities in everything from management to manufacturing.
